Poop

I just love how poop has become such a part of my life these days. On average I change about 4-7 diapers containing poop a day and then wipe my 5 year old's bum. I had never gotten pink eye before I had kids and now I get it on a regular basis (pink eye originates from feces getting into the eye). I have had way too many poop messes since entering motherhood that I have had to clean up and it is weird that it is okay. I have a box just outside the door, in my garage, where I put all my stinky diapers due to my laziness and it stinks up the whole garage. I have had to thoroughly scrub both bathtubs several times due to my boys pooping in the tub. Poop and potty training...need I say more? The other day I was wondering if there is some kind of a poop sensor that I could shine around my house and if there was any poop particles it would shine neon, and if so, how much would be in my house. Okay, so why am I sharing all these facts?...the other day topped it all off! Max has been putting his hand down the back of his diaper after pooping lately and getting it all over...aaahhh, what am I going to do? Anyways, he did this the other day and I had to clean him all up as well as clean it up from everywhere that he touched. An hour later Bode calls me in to wipe him(yes, he is five, but hasn't been doing so well at wiping so I am making him tell me when he poops so I can do a better job of it for him), anyways, I go into the bathroom and it is everywhere! I think that he squatted down and got poop all over his socks and pants around his ankles and then walked all over and got it all over the floor and rug. It was all over his shirt and stomach and who knows where else? I was so frustrated and just plain done! Bode says, 'Mom, you are kinda talking really loud, you might want to stop?' I was like, 'Ya, because I am mad!' And for some reason unknown everything is somehow your husbands fault even though he isn't even home? Next, I text Beez and let him know that I am so mad and that when he comes home tomorrow I am leaving. Somehow punishing him makes me feel better:) This is one thing I will not miss after my boys are older!

You poor thing. To punish Beez have him hire someone to deep clean the house once a month to make sure all the poo is gone. But your post makes me grateful to have another girl. They don't play with poop. Good luck.

oh ick! i'm sorry that i'm laughing but your description totally made me laugh. i can relate with the "punish the husband" thing because i think we all do it! one of these days you'll look back and smile - probably when they're all out of diapers!
