All of a sudden it seems as though life as been turned on super speed gear and it only continues to go by faster all the time. Bode turned the big 4 on the 28th and it just seems crazy! I can remember when he was born and it doesn't seem like it was that long ago. I remember Beez and I talking shortly after he was born and saying that we never knew how empty our lives had been until Bode came along. We felt the same way with Max and I am sure it will be times 2 with the twins arrival as well. Bode had been excited for his birthday for awhile so even though I am not big on throwing parties we had to do something for Bode because we could see his expectations were not small:) We had both families over for a little party and I think Bode had a lot of fun! Here is a few pictures of the big event.

This is a 'classic Bode expression' when he is frustrated. Kinda glad we got it recorded cause it makes me laugh.

Football cake (he requests what kind of a cake he wants every year now...it's a big deal).

Bode is just growing up! He will talk anyone's ear off that will listen, and I am not kidding. He has the biggest imagination and will tell story after story of made up nothing. Sometimes, they are kinda believable so I have to ask him, "Bode, did this really happen or are you just making it up?" He will usually say in between breaths, "I'm just makin it up Mom." 97% of the time you can just look at him and see the wheels of deep thought and contemplation turning in his head. He is so social and is not even a little shy. He is quick to make friends and loves to play with other kids. I really wasn't worried at all about him making new friends with no problems when we moved. Though he misses his old friends, he hasn't had any problems making new friends. He is super smart and had a great memory. Often he will randomly tell me some fact he has learned, and seems to remember things that I would be sure he wouldn't. I love Bode so much and feel so blessed that I get to be his mom. Sure love ya Buddy! Hope this year is even better than the last:)

Happy Easter!! We went to the Provo City Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning. Bode was so into it and was strategizing while we waited for them to say go.

Look at how proud he is of all the eggs he got.

Max still had bead head and was more into watching people.

This is Max Sunday morning finding the Easter Bunny's eggs.

As you can tell the boys got hair cuts Saturday night. My handsome boys!!! We spent the day watching conference and then headed over to Gwa and Grandpa's for brunch and then over to my Mom's for dinner as well. It was a fun time...other than Bode started to not feel good right after conference, got a fever, and then slept during all the fun family festivities:( Poor little guy. Just can't keep those germs away.

This is the newest addition to our family...baby Truman. James and Lisa are the proud new parents. I couldn't get over how cute and sweet he was last night. I can't say it made me baby hungry, but I can't put my finger on exactly what it was that I couldn't get over.

This is Cortney and her new husband Taylor. I was so sick at their wedding that I didn't take any pictures to post of my own, but we are excited for them:)
