The Holidays!

Love the holidays, and I was glad when they were over this year...only because I didn't feel good. I don't feel like I get to fully appreciate them when feeling sick. And I didn't get an adequate amount of pictures either, but here's the few I got.

This is Christmas morning:) The long awaited moment finally arrived.
Bode got a 3-wheeler from Santa and I think maybe we were more excited than he actually was, but he has had a lot of fun on it and I am sure there is much more fun to be had.
Max's highlight was the candy. Once he discovered it, that was his focus. Toys?...what toys?
I tried not to care how much he actually ate since it was Christmas, but I finally couldn't stand it anymore and had to hide it.
We took it over to Gwa and Grandpa's house for breakfast and presents. Cade and Ethan and Jake got a 4-wheeler so the kids rode them all day. Bode couldn't push the gas by himself at first and had to have someone ride with him, but just yesterday figured out how to do it himself...use his whole hand.

It was a fun Christmas! Later, we went over to Denise's house and visited for awhile. It was a busy but fun day!

New Year's Eve we went to a party at Bracken and Mandy's and did the countdown at 8:00 so we could get our kids home and in bed. Then we attended the party at my Mom's with my family. After the real countdown we let off some fireworks we have had forever. Beez brought them home from the firestation over a year ago. They were illegal fireworks that had been confiscated so we had to wait for the right moment to let 'em fly...
I didn't get pictures of everyone, but here are some of my cute nieces watching the fireworks.
My cousin Cami's new husband, Alex, and Big E.
Lighting the fireworks and running:)
Happy New Year! My New Year resolution is to enjoy this year no matter what happens. I know it is going to be crazy, but I realize it is my choice to either stress out and freak out; or to just sit back, not worry about the little things, and just enjoy my sweet kids.

What a fun Christmas for your boys. I can't believe Bode is old enough for such a big toy..time goes by quick. I love your New Years resolution! You are an amazing mom and with that attitude you can handle anything with the Lord's help. Congratulations! You will be great :)
