My boys in action!

Okay, so this wasn't funny at the time, but I have to document so I won't forget and can tell Bode someday! It was probably the scariest parenting experience up to this point. AAAHHH!!!
Carly, Bode, and I took the rhino out behind the park in our back yard the other day to pull each other on the sled. We really had so much fun!
This is Bode right after falling off the sled. He loved this! Today Bode and I went out to sled and he said, 'let's get the rhino.' Apparently, he is too good for just sledding now.
This is Carly pulling me and Bode with the rhino trying to take a picture of us. Classic...she is driving while taking pictures!...I love it!
She did get some of us though.

It all looks like fun and games, which it was except for one small incident. At one point I was tying the rope to the back of the rhino when all of a sudden the rhino takes off at full speed. I had left it in gear and Bode had gotten in the drivers seat and was pushing the gas headed straight for a tree. I was running as fast as I could screaming at him to stop. I realized there was NO way I could ever come close to catching him and I started praying. Right before he hit the tree he grabbed the steering wheel and turned it so sharp I thought it was going to tip over (he couldn't see over the steering wheel...divine intervention). He finally stopped and when I caught up to him he was laughing so hard, the kind of laugh that says, 'let's do it again!' Needless to say I learned NEVER to leave it in gear again..stupid, stupid, stupid!!! Well, the story is not over. A few days later Beez had gotten his truck stuck. It had just slid off into the gutter because of the ice on the road and he was having me pull it out with the tractor. He put Bode in the truck and was getting me set up. In the meantime, Bode got into the drivers seat, put it in reverse, and put the petal to the metal. SCARY!!! I don't even want to think about what would have happened if the truck had not been stuck. Beez saw the wheels spinning and went and got him. Later, Beez was telling me about what Bode had done and Bode heard and said, 'Mommy, I need to drive the truck.' I guess we learned the hard way NEVER to leave him alone in anything that has gas alone.

On a lighter note here are a few videos that I have taken in the last week that are the cutest things ever!!!

On the way home from Colorado Bode just started singing 'Happy Birthday to Jesus!' It was pretty cute. He is actually really sweet when he isn't driving anything he can get his hands on.

And I cannot believe that Max is six months old. How did that happen? He is the happiest little guy! He is always smiling and laughing, even when no one is around. Here are a couple of videos of him.

So if I see a truck driving along the road without a driver visable I'll know it just Bode out for a joy ride. Stay off the road Bode is cruisin'. Seriously, I'm so glad that everyone is ok. Boys and their toys-you can't keep them away.

I think Bode needs a permit to drive that thing in city limits, right? LOL

Bode must get his singing ability from you. At least he gets the words right!!! Remember "and the entire unagrace!" I can't hear that song without remembering you getting the words wrong!

Max is cute and funny, but listening to you is funnier.

That story about Bode is so funny....lesson learned: never leave Bode in a car alone with the keys anywhere near!
