Bode's Obsession

Bode just gets more and more fun and has so many interests, but he really is kind of obsessed over the main sports in which he knows about, and really anything that has to do with the Cougars. He will always say, "Mama, fight song." So I then will sing the BYU fight song, at the end he does the "rah! rah! rah! Go Cougars!" and then says "again, again (more like adain)." He will seriously get me to sing it for twenty or so minutes straight until I turn his attention to something else. Or he will be commentary for their basketball games. The other day in the car he was saying over and over, "Shoot the ball Cougars, shoot the ball Cougars...oh miss/or nice shot/or airball/or dunk etc." It was so funny. I took him to the BYU football scrimmage last Saturday and he was beyond excited!
Life doesn't get any better than this for my little guy!
I was having a hard time getting him to look at the camera because he was so completely into what was going on in the field.
K, was the weather not absolutely gorgeous on Saturday! I really need that weather on a consistent basis VERY SOON for my mental health...and Bode's.

Bode reminds me of Quinton...Quinton would put on his Broncos uniform and do warmups....and he could quote Remember The Titains, word for word! Kids are so funny! I love Bode's little personality!

He's hilarious! I love Bode! I was so bummed when you called. Lance and I didn't realize we scheduled the trip during the blue and white game! The boys would've had a blast together! I love you, and miss you a ton! I have a couple things for you ;)

You're going to have an athlete, how fun. Denim might be calling you for tips. He's just praying that Crosby enjoys sports as much as he does.

He sure looks happy. Haven't seen a football game in that stadium for too long. Everyone's blog has the floating baby, lots of people expecting.

You have created a sportsaholic already at the tender age of two. That sounds a lot like Derek as a kid. His Mom always tells me about how she would try to turn on cartoons for him and he would change the channel to a football game. Are you kidding me? I still love Seasame Street what is his problem. As for New York...of course you and Brian are invited any time you like. We already know that you fit easily in the bed with Derek and I. I'm sure we could squeeze Brian in too!

I don't think my kids even knew what sports were when they were 2.

I LOVE the hip wiggle when he runs. LOVE IT. I hope you have lots of video of it. I'm going to check out the bldg site this week. It is a long shot, but I would love to live by you too.

Wow I kinda gave up on looking at your blog since you didn't do it for so long and now I have missed so much! Brian still has a brother young enough for a mission? How many brothers does he have? I love Bode's obsession with the fight song. It was so cute how I could get him to do it at the drop of a hat when we were in AZ. I MISS YOU!
