Happy Birthday Dad...in Vegas!

This last Sunday was my Dad's 70th birthday! We all wanted to do something special for him so we all surprised him in Vegas. Him and Sandy and James and Lisa went to Las Vegas for the basketball tournament. On Thursday night they went to dinner at P.F. Chang's and the waitress took him to his table which was in one of the private rooms and all of his kids and spouse's were there to surprise him. We also surprised him with a video containing 16 minutes worth of pictures and music of his life (thanks to James for the many hours he spent on this). We all stayed and hung out the whole weekend and had a lot of fun! Let's be honest though, it would've been better if the Cougars would have won. My Dad is seriously the best dad in the whole world and I love him so much! I hope he knows how much we all love and appreciate the person he is, especially me:)
Everyone at dinner. This is actually the only time I took pictures the whole weekend while everyone else was snapping away.
The daughters. It was like a photoshoot at the restaurant.
The sons.
Brian had already planned a boys trip so he left us after 'the big night' and went and did his thing with the boys. I was glad that he got to have fun with his friends even though I missed him.

That is cute that you guys surprised your dad! Oh, and your belly is so so cute! To answer your question, NM was just within the distance limits of somewhere you could go over a weekend and still have time to play. So we decided NM was where we wanted to go, especially so we could escape the snow, and because there is a lot of mountain biking and hiking down there.

You guys are so cute to do that for your dad. I am sorry about the annoying game of phone tag. Maybe one day we'll talk. Love you!
