The Art of Thanksgiving
"The art of thanksgiving is thanksliving. It is gratitude in action. It is thanking God for the gift of life by living it triumphantly. It is thanking God for your talents and abilities by accepting them as obligations to be invested for the common good. It is thanking God for all that men and women have done for you by doing things for others. It is thanking God for opportunities by accepting them as a challenge to achievement. It is thanking God for inspiration by trying to be an inspiration to others. It is thanking God for each new day by living it to the fullest. It is thanking God by giving hands, arms, legs, and voice to your thankful spirit. It is adding prayers of thanksgiving, acts of thanksliving." by Wilferd A. PertersonI love Thanksgiving! It helps you reflect on all there is to be thankful for. On the way out to Colorado Brian and I listed things we were thankful for, it was neat to do it together. I cannot believe how blessed I am! Words cannot express the gratitude I feel. I hope I can use my gratitude in action. I love this poem...it is so important to feel gratitude, but I hope I can do something about what I am feeling and act on it. 'Because I have been given much I too must give."

That looks like such a blast!! I am glad you had a good Thanksgiving! It is always so great to really reflect upon our blessings! We are very blessed people, aren't we??
Great pictures!
So glad you got to see the Utes go down in our homefield. And for one time could the firemen wear blue?? Guess red is the "official" color, but it was the Utes that needed rescuing! Colorado looks fun. I was just telling Doug tonight how much I wanted to go to a cabin and get snowed in (with electricity and heat still) and cuddle and drink hot cocoa.
How fun is that! I love cabins! I'm so glad you guys had a good thanksgiving, and I'm happy you were able to make it home for the game...it was a good one huh! We love you guys, and I was telling Lance that we should have a little Christmas party with everyone (any excuse to get together)

How fun. Did Bode sleep in the same bed as you guys? I wish I would've known you were at the BYU game, we could've met up.
Ya what a great game. Hopefully Brian was able to watch most of it. Did you take care of the ute fan that got headbutted by the byu fan? It was on ksl the guy had a pretty nice cut on his forehead.

Oh, that looks like so much fun Kari! That's awesome that you got to go to the game. Thank you so much for coming yesterday! It was so fun to see you!!
That isn't quite how I would want to spend Thanksgiving... in a cold little wooden cabin:) But... that's prissy litte me huh.
GO UTES. It's pretty amamzing that BYU pulled it off. Heavenly Father must have wanted the majority of mormons to feel happy that day huh:)
Hi I am having an "I miss Kari Ann moment", just want to tell you I love you!
