There is no doubt about it, Bode is a daddy's boy! Whenever Brian is home Bode wants nothing to do with me, it is all about Daddy. I will try to feed him, bath him, put him to sleep, etc. and it is, 'Daddy.' I try and tell myself it is just because I am with him all day and Brian is the novelty, but the fact is he absolutely loves Brian! Brian is such a good dad and I am so grateful for him! You can tell how much he loves Bode just by watching Brian with him. I love ya hun!

Brian was fixing one of the cabinets the other day with a screwdriver and we didn't really know Bode was paying any attention. The next day (and several times after that) Bode went and got a screwdriver and then opened up the exact cabinet Brian fixed and proceeded to fix it. It was so cute!! Brian was so proud!

I totally understand what your saying when you call him a daddy's boy. I'm so glad that you told me that Bode always wants to go to Brian first because when Bailee first started doing that to Luke I thought that I wasn't giving her enougth attention. As you already know she is totally a daddy's little girl. We need to hang out soon because we are moving soon.
That is so cute and it is so great to have such an amazing husband and father to your child. One that he can look up to and admire! What a wonderful father he is!! And what a cute pic in the shower! And I love the he tries fix what his daddy was fixin'! So cute Kari!
I love Bode's big cheeser in the shower with Brian; it is so cute! And that is always so much fun when they try to be like daddy. He's a smart one.
Sophia and Grace both love being with Lane the minute he is home. It is totally because they spend all day with mom. That just means we get a break when daddy is home. For example, last saturday Lane let me sleep in and when I woke up, Grace told me to go back to bed. Bode is such a cutie. That's great he already enjoys sports event.
I love it! Warren is totally a daddy's boy too!! Tool man Bode!! That's so dang cute! You need to get him his own set of tools now! Maybe I'll throw in a good word to Santa!
I'm glad to hear that it's normal with boys and their dads! I swear little Z doesn't even recognize me really, but when Kent gets home he's all giggles and reaching for him!! I've tried convincing myself the same thing about being with him all day, but really it must be great dads!

You know I can relate 100%. Sometimes it makes me feel a little cheated but aren't we lucky girls to have such great husbands! I am sure you wouldn't trade his obsession for anything. I know I wouldn't. (Besides it gives me a little break when Brett gets home.)
