Marjorie Hinckley said: "Find joy in your children. Don't overschedule them or yourself. You may not be able to take them on exotic vacations. It doesn't matter. When the day dawns bright and sunny, take an excursion to the canyon or the park. When it's cloudy and wet, read a book together or make something good to eat. Give them time to explore and learn about the feel of grass and the wiggliness of worms."
I hope I can make the most of every day I have with Bode. I only have each stage of his life with him once. I don't want any regrets. I know life gets busy, but never too busy for the most important things in life.

Kari Ann, you are amazing. I loved the quote and your attitude towards being a mom and enjoying time with your kids. Sometimes I get so frustrated with McKailey I forget that I only have this time with her once and I better make the most of it! Thanks for reminding us. Those pictures are so cute, I loved them. He is such a cute kid.

Kari Ann,
This is Katie Allen Chase, Sorry for just jumping right into your blog... I agree with your quote. I just sent my oldest off to kindergarten and I can't help feeling that I wasted so much time with her. They only stay completly yours for a little while, it's good to take advantage of every moment. What a beatiful family!
